Ismay Simeon

Ismay was born in Pestel Haiti in the summer of 2011. He was abandoned by his mother, so his grandmother took over his care. Though she did her best it came to a point where it was no longer possible for grandma to care for him; due to lack of resources. She took an 8-hour bus trip to Port-Au-Prince and brought Ismay to New Life Children's Home. When he arrived Ismay was very sick with tuberculosis and suffering greatly from malnutrition. With the expertise of the medical staff and the love of nannies, he is now a very healthy pre-teen.  He loves to play soccer and have fun with his friends.  Ismay’s favorite food is chicken and rice. His favorite possession is a pair of yellow running shoes.
